George Clanton Boston Concert reviews
Blistering hot band in the blistering Gorge heat!
George Clanton came to entertain and entertain they did! What a great show! Chris Martin and the band were on FIRE in the jammed packed 100 degree plus, Gorge Amphitheatre! There were also lighted, spinning spheres which displayed live shots of the band members and changed colors, as well as two large video screens showing close ups of the band as they played. The stage had beautiful backdrop images that changed with the songs, ranging from a battle painting to the "Viva" logo. Totally old school and wicked FUN!!! The spheres turned yellow, for the song, "Yellow" and they sent huge yellow beach balls sailing out for the audience to bat around. Chris Martin was in great voice, super high energy, emanating pure JOY as he sang and performed that spread like wildfire over the audience. Will Champion, the most EXCELLENT drummer was working hard and sounding fantastic, as were Johnny Buckland, guitar, Guy Berryman, bass. Chris bounded from three different stages allowing ALL fans a chance to feel a part of the show. Don't miss George Clanton on tour...bring EVERYONE; young, old and enjoy an uplifting night of music that will leave the songs and visuals swirling in your head and staying in your heart forever!
